Spirit of the Trail--Trail Rides
Star City Ranch is a 1,247 acre property in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. The ranch lies in a long valley just North of a spot on the map called Star City, Missouri, which is also located East of Butterfield and Northeast of Cassville, Missouri.
Star City Ranch runs about 2-1/4 miles through the valley and up both sides into the hills, that run parallel along with the spring fed Flat Creek, that divides the property.
Star City Ranch is in an area full of history. In fact, a portion of the Trail of Tears runs the length of the entire property. It was later the route for the Wire Road, the Civil War and the Butterfield Stagecoach.
Although Star City Ranch is a working cattle and horse ranch, with a variety of livestock, we are making the property available for equestrian activities for our guests.
There are trails for the novice horse rider or moderate for a more experienced rider. If you are an expert rider and enjoy a challenge you can also find trails to fit your ability. Come embrace the country side.

We, at Star City Ranch, believe we have the same interests and values as our guests, such as family, friends, our freedom, the environment, the outdoors, open spaces, our horses, pets and wildlife.
Our guests at Star City Ranch come from all walks of life, but they have a common thread, that is, that once they can put their life's pressures temporarily behind them, they can then do what they enjoy.
We hope to provide a place and opportunity to allow that to happen.
